The short version
Everything you type, paste, or upload into our tools is processed entirely in your browser. It never touches our servers. We use Google Analytics to count which tools are popular — we see things like "the JSON formatter was used 500 times today", not your actual JSON. We do not sell data. We do not run ads. We do not require an account.
Every tool on Execute.Online runs entirely client-side using JavaScript in your browser. When you format JSON, decode a JWT, convert an image, or check a password's strength, that work happens on your device — the same way a calculator app works offline. Our servers are never involved.
This is a deliberate architectural choice, not just a privacy promise. It means we are technically incapable of reading your data even if we wanted to.
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-V5KQ1MQQN2) to understand how the site is used. This helps us decide which tools to improve and which new tools to build.
We collect anonymous, aggregated signals such as:
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy and is subject to Google's data processing terms.
To opt out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use a browser extension like uBlock Origin.
We do not set any first-party tracking cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors; these are set by googletagmanager.com, not by execute.online.
Some tools save your preferences to browser localStorage — for example, recently used tools and sidebar preferences. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time via your browser's settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data).
A small number of tools (AI Client, Audio Transcriber) route requests through our server to work around browser security restrictions (CORS) that prevent direct calls to third-party APIs.
When using AI features, your content is also subject to the privacy policy of the AI provider you connect to (OpenAI, Groq, Google). Please review their policies before sending sensitive data.
We retain anonymised Google Analytics data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. We hold no other data about you.
Because we do not collect personal data, most data-subject rights (access, erasure, portability) have nothing to act on from our side. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, or if you have concerns about our analytics practices, contact us and we will respond promptly.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you retain all rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. Our use of Google Analytics is based on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate tool usage. You may object to this processing at any time by using the opt-out mechanism described above.
If we make material changes — for example, adding a new third-party service — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Execute.Online after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this policy or our data practices, please reach out and we will respond promptly.
